Funeral Frost - Queen of Frost (47MB)

Funeral Frost - Queen of Frost (1996, 47MB)

Queen of Frost is Funeral Frost's first and last full-length album. Released in 1996 through the record label Wolfnacht Domain, Queen of Frost brings you good and satisfying screams and instrumentals.

Funeral Frost is a Västerås based black metal band that's currently signed with Raging Bloodlust Records. Before this full-length album, Funeral Frost released three demos, unsigned. Midnight Speechless (1994), Demo 2 (1995), Queen of Frost Advance '96 (1996) and after the full-length in 1996, they released one more demo called "Promo 97" in 1997. Ten years after Promo 97 was released, Funeral Frost came back with an EP called "Watch Them Burn" that contained the four songs "Millenium of Conquering", "Bringer of War", Watch Them Burn" and "Unleashed is Our Hidden Wrath" this time through Raging Bloodlust Records.

ReinXeed - 1912 (147MB)

Album art
Extremely melodic power metal from northern Sweden, worth the download.
ReinXeed released their first album The Light in 2008. The Light was followed by Higher (2009) and Majestic (2010) and in 2011 the concept album 1912 was released, which is their most commerically successful album to date, including their most famous song "We Must Go Faster".

1912 is a concept album about, you guessed it, the RMS Titanic. 1912 is, as I wrote above, extremely melodic, even for power metal, and Tommy Johansson's voice is as glorious and high pitched as ever. Johansson's Swedish accent isn't as broad on this album as it is on a few others, especially A New World (2013). Whether that is an upside or a downside depends entirely on the listener and what they think about Swedish accents. The difference between 1912 and A New World accent-wise is probably as much of a difference as Sabaton had between Art of War and Heroes, Heroes and 1912 being the ones with less broad accents.

1912 also holds the highest ratings out of all of ReinXeed's albums on Encyclopedia Metallum where it holds an average of 91% with 3 reviews to date (2014/06/07).

On the record itself there are 10 tracks, 13 if you count the Japanese bonus tracks (which are added in the download file linked below). The Track listing goes:

The Final Hour (4:19)
